Hi everyone,
Ignesco’s photo and video editing demands have slowly increased as we’ve taken on more complex projects. Our stable of iMacs and solid custom PCs have been handling these demands fine up until recently. Now that we’ve added several new team members, it’s time to think about upgrading!
I posted a potential cheap, small, low-power editing rig a while back using PCPartPicker. This was a simple but effective build, but was during the height of the crypto craze and RAM scam, meaning even a GTX 1060 was astronomically priced and 16GB of RAM was high as well.
The new build below is a similar rig, but priced much more reasonably for the same or better specs.
